2004 Beijing Weekend

John and Edwin went to Beijing for the weekend, arriving late Friday evening. On Saturday they met up with and received an excellent tour by Zhang Li of Cisco China. On the first full day, they visited the Forbidden City and the Great Wall at Mutianyu, and had an excellent lunch and a great dinner. The lunch was especially spicy (for example, see the bowl of red peppers that they scooped out of the boiled-fish water). They did even more stuff on the second day. Then they headed home on the third day.
