Day Four ..

Another family tradition -- we climbed the Monument in London, which offered a panoramic view of the city, the Thames, and far beyond. We tried to climb the dome of St. Paul's but it was closed!!! Anyway, after a brief climb, we split up and John took the girls to a shopping area, while Mike and Kate visited the Tower of London and took the tour. Then, in the evening, we all head for the Prince Edward theatre to see "Mamma Mia," a musical based on the music of Abba. A very high-energy play and the audience was clapping and singing along. We managed a visit to the original Hard Rock cafe after the play, and took just about the last train home..
