Day 5

London, UK

John and Kate in the Hard Rock Cafe, under George Harrison's Beatle jacket. Found Cisco's EARL in the London subway.

We tour the British Museum, successfully finding the Rosetta stone and a plethora of mummies, including a mummified alligator. In the evening, we have dinner at the original Hard Rock Cafe at Hyde Park Corners, London. It's amazingly small inside. Now we understand why there are lines around the block every time there is an event, such as the yearly anniversary of the Hard Rock. Last year was the 25th and we couldn't get anywhere near the place. In the morning, it's time to pack for an 11:30 a.m. flight on Lufthansa to Munich, but that's part of Day 6...
